Writing Blog-style about Blogging and The Internet...
I feel like this girl could be one of my fellow students at Oberlin. But she’s on the cover of the NYT Magazine! Oh the opportunities. Do you think I could be famous like her if I just put my mind to it and started writing personal stuff on my tumblr?
P.S. I don’t want to be like her! Reading her article makes me feel weird.
20x200
Today I learned about and became a fan of a woman named Jen Bekman. She’s pretty cool and has a gallery and does other cool stuff. Kent Rogowski is one of the photographers she represents (that I really like.) go here and here. I’m entertaining ideas of someday becoming one of her hot shots.

Tom Museum →
I almost never see art that hits the spot like the Tom museum did when I visited it today. Tom’s big idea is making art that everyone can enjoy. It might be. But he’s great, and I...
change is gonna come
It’s gonna come to this blog—taking a detour (from what? you might ask) to become “Obamablog” from now until hopefully, November. Or until I get tired of posting Obama links and factoids. Let’s Barack-out

Lit
Jacob Weisberg really likes to make literary analogies. In his new book, he describes Bush as a Shakespearian tragic figure, and I just saw him repeatedly call the Wire ”Dickensian” in a little HBO retrospective on the show. He made the same comparison in a slate article a while ago. My point? Jacob Weisberg is a big nerd.
Zoo
I keep hearing stories on NPR about zoos, like this one on Radio Lab, and another one I can’t remember. Plus my favorite book is called Zoo. It’s a good word. Zooooooooooo
