Jacob Weisberg really likes to make literary analogies. In his new book, he describes Bush as a Shakespearian tragic figure, and I just saw him repeatedly call the Wire ”Dickensian” in a little HBO retrospective on the show. He made the same comparison in a slate article a while ago.
My point? Jacob Weisberg is a big nerd.
