I almost never see art that hits the spot like the Tom museum did when I visited it today. Tom’s big idea is making art that everyone can enjoy. For me, Tom’s house/museum was an experience akin to reading Alice in Wonderland, or encountering a similarly complete fantasy world. It was like entering someone’s ecstatic inner exitence, and it helped me clarify to myself what kind of art is particularly meaningful for me (art for everyone…)
